My name is Aminov Alidzhon, and I am a Data Scientist with a background in global economics.

What can I tell about myself?

I am from Tajikistan, a country in Central Asia. For almost 10 years, I lived in South Korea, where I got my bachelor's degree in global economics. My classes were all in Korean, so I learned to speak Korean fluently. While living in South Korea, I met people from all over the world. This helped me get better at English. Now, I can speak English, Korean, Russian, and Farsi, and I want to learn more languages in the future.
I have now moved to Germany to study for a master's degree in Data Science. This new step is not just about studying. It is also about meeting people from different places and learning about their cultures. It is a way for me to keep growing and learning, just like I did in South Korea.

How did I become a Data Scientist?

My professional journey includes working as an Overseas Sales and Marketing Specialist at a company exporting Korean brand cars. However, I was not fully satisfied with this role because I missed engaging in research, analysis, and solving quantitative problems, which were significant parts of my university studies. Motivated by this realization, I began search to find a career that matched my interests and skills. This search led me to the Data Analyst profession, for which I have a strong passion. Through hard work and dedication, I taught myself the necessary technical skills, further enhancing them with my academic knowledge. This effort enabled me to secure a position as a Data Analyst at Mysterico, a Korean firm specializing in artificial intelligence-based marketing solutions. My responsibilities were varied, including assisting Data Scientists with research and tests. While I enjoyed the role of a Data Analyst, my collaboration with Data Scientists sparked a desire to further my education and skill set, aiming for a career as a Data Scientist. Advancing my studies in Data Science has not only complemented my previous knowledge but also introduced me to the field of data engineering, helping me evolve into a Data Scientist. This journey has deepened my understanding and equipped me with comprehensive tools.
